Humanoid Manipulator Media could be said to have started in 1985, when Darryl was brought to the video store his mother worked at instead of being bored with a baby-sitting.
Spending hours looking at the boxes of VHS tapes, taking in all the different styles and types left a long lasting impression on him. That nigh-endless stream of videos, drawing cartoon and comic book characters, lot’s of Lego, fascination with how things worked inside, Transformers and computers led to him designing new levels for video games and teaching himself how to program Commodore 64′s in grade 5 math class.
Today as the proud “Big Cheese” of Humanoid Manipulator Media, you can find him creating vast new worlds on film, putting them together with CGI and special effects, and delivering them online, to your phone and, if needed, to your very door.
Who knows the next step, but for certain, it’ll be part fantasy, and part dream come true.
