Vancouver Zombie Walk 2009 & "Elbow Room" abuse

Skipped across the pond from Victoria to Vancouver to film the zombie walk, primarily for fun and to check out the quality of zombies that Vancouver can pump out - it's pretty impressive.

I was also hoping to get some stock footage of zombies filling the streets and clamoring over each other to get to people on buses, but besides the tricky way to overcome filming zombies that were always walking while taking pictures of themzelves, twittering "Brains" and uploading the vid to Facebook, I also had to try and avoid all the other photographers and guys filming. The ratio of zombie to camera man must have been at least 10 to 1!

It was indeed a fun, crazy time to see over a thousand people get sticky bloody and hold up traffic for a few hours.

Once I digitize the footage I may post 5 or 6 of the best images - my still camera pooped out and so they'll have to be HiDef frame grabs.

On a side note, the day after the walk I'm going to check out "Elbow Room" Cafe in Vancouver - Whereas the Smiles are free at McDonalds, the abuse is free here. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
